George Shelley's band Union J through to next round in X Factor
Clevedon's X Factor hopeful George Shelley and his band Union J have made it through to the next round of the television talent show.
There was none of the tension of last weekend, when the group had to sing for their place in the competition, with Union J being announced as the first contestants through in Sunday night’s programme.

They sang a version of Carly Rae Jepson's hit track Call Me Maybe on Saturday.
Nineteen-year-old George’s mum Toni Harris and family and friends took to the streets of Bristol over the weekend to encourage more people in the city to support Union J’s efforts in the X Factor.

Ella Henderson was voted off the show after ending up in the sing-off with James Arthur. After she sang Daniel Bedingfield’s If You’re Not the One the judges could not agree who to send home and took the decision to deadlock. Ella received the fewest public votes and left the show.
