Gazette duo travel to icy climes for military training
NAVAL personnel serving in the Arctic Circle are being joined next week by staff from the Western Gazette.
Reporter Rob Golledge and photographer Laura Jones are heading to northern Norway to join servicemen and women from RNAS Yeovilton.

The troops are training in the snow and ice at the Bardufoss Air Station for the next few months.
As well as flying Sea King helicopters to practise their skills, the aircrews will be learning survival techniques by trekking through the snow with packs and sledges.

The exercises helps them to prepare for freezing conditions in the winter months and mountains of Afghanistan.
Mr Golledge said: "This will be a valuable insight into what our Armed Forces get up to and it will be so interesting to see how we equip them for the front line."
