Gavin Williams set to join Yeovil Town again on loan
Bristol City midfielder Gavin Williams is expected to complete a loan move to Yeovil Town this morning.
The former Glovers man failed to make the squad for City's last Championship encounter at Ipswich Town and is likely to agree a deal to stay at Huish Park for a month.
Williams was on-loan at Yeovil towards the end of last season and manager Terry Skiverton enquired about bringing the Welshman back earlier in this campaign – but was rebuffed.
City boss Keith Millen, however, has a number of players returning from injury and is understood to have sanctioned the move in order for Williams to get games.
Millen said: "We need to get some players out to get some games because we have a big squad now.
"I'm delighted that everyone is nearing full fitness but we can't keep everyone happy.
"A few players need to get first-team games under their belt and they won't get the chance to do that here at the moment."
Williams is expected to be in the Yeovil squad for their League One encounter with Tranmere at Huish Park on Saturday.
Millen, meanwhile, is still looking to bolster his squad after admitting that talks had taken place over a possible loan signing.
"There has been some talks over a possible deal," Millen said. "If a player becomes available who we think will improve the squad then we will look at it.
"It's an ongoing thing. There could be some movement both ways in the next few days."
