Gary Johnson waiting on FA Cup availability nod for Yeovil Town loan stars
Gary Johnson has admitted he still has work to do to ensure his Yeovil Town loan stars are granted permission to play in the FA Cup.
The Glovers travel to Preston North End in the First Round on November 3. They require green lights from Norwich City, Fulham, Carlisle United, Bristol City, Aston Villa and possibly Reading to use Korey Smith, Dan Burn, Paddy Madden, Joe Edwards, Daniel Johnson and the currently injured Gozie Ugwu respectively.

Johnson said: “Some have said ‘no’ and we have still got to try and change their minds, some have said ‘ask us again a bit later on’. We have got some good players on loan so their parent clubs aren’t necessarily looking to lose them and have them cup tied.
“We will do whatever it is we have to do to keep some of the lads. We are just short of hopeful with some of them.”
