Gary Johnson sets 20-game target to keep Yeovil Town on track for play-offs
Gary Johnson has targeted guiding Yeovil Town beyond 20 points after 20 games in order to keep the club on track for a play-off push.
The Glovers started the campaign in fine form, racing to ten points and the top of npower League One after just four games.

However, six straight defeats threatened to undo their efforts before the alarming run was ended with a competent 3-1 defeat of Colchester United.
As the Huish Park outfit prepare to travel to table-topping Tranmere tomorrow, Johnson said they must improve on their early-season return between now and the end of November. He said: “Any win is a confidence booster but we have to try and put two or three results together after our losing run.

“We have got to try and claw back some points. We have got a couple of months where we have got to look at the next ten games to pick up more point than in the first ten.
“This (Tranmere) is the second of our second group of ten games. We won the first against Colchester and this is a test. We have got to be professional and do a job.”
The boss said a return to form could leave Yeovil looking up rather than over their shoulders as they prepare for the festive period.
Johnson said: “If you can pick up some decent points in the next ten games then you start looking at Christmas and December time still in with a shout and that is where you have got to be.
“When you are coming into the Christmas period you have got to be in touching distance if you have got ambitions and to go to the next level you need to be in touching distance of the play-offs. That is what we have got to keep in our head.
“We will also say we have got to treat each game as it comes because each week we will have our injuries and situations to bring in other loans because of our small squad. We have got a small squad that we will have to keep trying to improve as we go along.”
