Gary Eagle wins MV50 category for Frome Running Club at Wiltshire 10 race in Melksham
Frome Running Club members turned out in force for the sellout Wiltshire 10, a road race that starts in Melksham.
The ten-mile route heads out of the town along Forest Road and takes in the picturesque village of Lacock before returning to Melksham for the finish.
Wiltshire events often attract a fast field and this was no exception as the winner set a course record of 52mins 14secs, just over nine minutes clear of Frome's first finisher Gary Eagle, whose time of 61:29 won the MV50 category. Keith Robinson made it an age-group double for Frome as he won the MV60 category in 67:02.
Dan Berryman was second home for Frome in 65:08, closely followed by Robin-Mark Schols (MV50) in 65:39, with both setting personal bests.
