Garden waste collections return to normal service following snow disruption
Somerset garden waste collections suspended during last week's snow disruption have now returned to normal service.
Collections were halted in Mendip, South Somerset and Taunton Deane last Friday as many of the county's roads became impassable due to the severe winter weather.

Services resumed in Taunton Deane on Monday and in South Somerset on Wednesday. Today, usual collections will restart in Mendip.
A Somerset Waste Partnership spokesman said: "We will not be able to return for collections not made during the suspension.
