We will be reviewing the need to carry on with the craft mornings which have been taking place at Eileen's recently – thinking again in the autumn.

We are making arrangements for another meeting towards Christmas to link up with our friends from Halburton.

Pat Steer gave us a brief run down on new rules governing documents in the WI. The new constitution may bring in a rule of three misses at committee meetings and you're out.

Mr Taylor showed us how to make miniature Christmas trees with twigs of sycamore or chestnut. He whittled away with his favourite penknife and made delicate little table decorations. He says his wife even allows him to do this in the living room, so it doesn't make much mess.

In October, Mrs Kebble will be telling us about the Adventures of a House Sitter. The competition will be for a small china bell.

Hilary won the flower of the month competition and Pat B won the competition for a star for a Christmas tree.
