Frome's Merlin Theatre put on frightfully good dance show Thriller
THE Thriller workshop at Frome's Merlin Theatre proved so popular on Monday that children were turned away.
The theatre's artistic director Claudia Pepler said the event went really well.
She explained: "Last year's Thriller workshop was very successful. We had not intended to put on a second one but the parents persuaded us that we should."
The event is run by Tri.art Theatre School and Dance Academy which will be running other workshops at the theatre over school holidays.
The workshop was aimed at children who were fans of Michael Jackson, Glee and zombies.
They learned to walk, talk and act like a zombie; a Glee/ Thriller dance routine and how to apply gruesome zombie-style make-up.
At the end of the workshop the children showed off their new skills in a show they put on for their families.
