Frome brothers face assault trial
TWO brothers have appeared in court accused of assault during an incident in Frome.
Thomas James William Pawley, 23, and George Adam Pawley, 21, both of Hillside, Frome, appeared before Somerset Magistrates at Yeovil.
Both were charged with assaulting Vincent Pitman by beating during the alleged incident on September 1.
Thomas Pawley was also charged with assaulting Mark Preston by beating. George Pawley was further alleged to have assaulted Gary Coles by beating and was also charged with failing to surrender to bail on September 16.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them and the case was adjourned until February 17 next year when they are expected to face a three-day trial before the magistrates.
Until their next court appearance both were released on conditional bail on the understanding they do not contact named witnesses.
