Frome College: Students reveal their new colours
THE new uniform at Frome College is very fresh and well designed, with different colours and a lot of purple – the look of Frome College has changed.
The public response to our new uniform has been fantastic, with many people telephoning the school to express how smart the students look. The general feel being that it promotes a better image for the college and Frome as a thriving town. It certainly looks to be a move for the better.
For the new Year 9 they no longer have to put up with the thin, cold black V-neck jumpers, so the new look should be a lot more practical, smarter and overall beneficial for the school, town and the pupils.
At the moment the school is going through a transitional period, while the Year 10 and 11 still wear the old uniform, the Year 9 look very different.
For now this looks a little strange, but the plan is that the future will look a lot brighter with a flash of purple at the college.
Two different uniforms, one school: Frome College may currently look like two different schools in one, but the long term prospect of a college full of blazers will certainly make much more of an impact in the future.
