Frome Cheese Show nominated for top award
Frome's agricultural and cheese show has been shortlisted for the second annual Farmers Guardian's show business 2013 competition.
Now the show's organisers is calling on visitors, exhibitors, competitors past and present and anyone with an interest in this 150 years old plus event to cast their vote and help it win a raft of publicity and promotional activity worth thousands of pounds.
Show secretary Brenda Scott said: "Being shortlisted is a brilliant achievement in itself and is a tribute to the not-so-small army of volunteers who turn every year to help make it the success it is.
"We're up against seven other one day shows from as far apart as Aberdeenshire and Sussex but we're the only one in the South West."
