Friend's memory is an inspiration for athlete
A Radstock man is in training for the Midsomer Norton Triathlon on Sunday, raising money for St Peter's Hospice.
Daniel Young, a machine operator at CFH in St Peter's Park, decided to undertake the event in memory of his friend and colleague Simon Edmondson, who died from cancer in 2011.
Daniel said: "Simon is greatly missed, and I've decided to take part in my first triathlon in his memory. He was looked after at the end of his life by St Peter's Hospice who provided such wonderful care. I'm grateful to CFH and to everyone who is providing much needed support and encouragement."
St Peter's Hospice in Bristol cares for people with life-limiting illnesses. Anyone wishing to support Daniel can do so by visiting: http://www.justgiving.com/Daniel-Young22.
