Fresh hope for return of Weston-super-Mare seafront pool at Tropicana site
Hopes to bring back a seafront pool to Weston-super-Mare have gone one step further, after plans for the Tropicana site were unanimously voted through on Thursday night.
Trop (WsM) wants the High Court to give a judicial review on whether the old pool should be demolished. The Tropicana closed 12 years ago and is now derelict.

Trop is made up of local businesses, who want to see the pool reinstated. The Tropicana was a popular family attraction which enjoyed its heyday in the 1980s.
