Free health talk targets bowel cancer
A free event that will explain prevention and early diagnosis of bowel cancer is taking place in Midsomer Norton on Wednesday.
Elizabeth Lee, of Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire Cancer Services (ASWCS), will give a presentation at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall. There will also be refreshments.
ASWCS works in collaboration with health authorities, NHS trusts, primary care trusts, hospices, voluntary organisations and service users. Its aim is to improve the quality of cancer services by implementing national recommendations.
