Taunton boss Robinson is given backing
Taunton Town's manager Leigh Robinson has been given a vote of confidence by the Somerset club's chief executive and chairman Kevin Sturmey.
It follows another defeat – their tenth in Division One South and West of the Evo-Stik Southern League this season – by 3-0 at Didcot Town on Tuesday night.
Sturmey said last night: "Considering the amount of injuries and suspensions we have had and the amount of players we have had to use, Leigh is doing a remarkable job."
However, to add to Robinson's problems, new striker Carl Cliff-Brown and skipper Simon Ingram were both injured at Didcot and could be out for some time.

And midfielder Rob Norrish is suspended for two matches and will be ruled out of tomorrow's tough game at home to Merthyr Town.
Taunton have slumped to third from bottom in the table and have played more games than the two sides below them, Sholing and Bishop's Cleeve.
Sturmey added: "Our home form is fine. We just need to improve away from home."
Taunton have collected just four points from their ten away matches this season.
Meanwhile Scott Rogers, nephew of Taunton's assistance manager Martyn Rogers, is the latest player to arrive at Wordsworth Drive.
He has been playing recently for Willand Rovers in the Toolstation League but his Evo-Southern League registration was with Chippenham Town.
The former Bristol City apprentice will best be remembered for coming off the bench and scoring the winner two minutes from the end in Tiverton Town's 1-0 win over Bedlington in the final of the FA Carlsberg Vase at Wembley in 1999.
