Instrument-swapping, harmony-sharing, musical collective Boat To Row headline tonight's Communion night at Truro's B-Side at Bunters – the first of 2013.

From its beginnings as a solo university project, the group evolved into a confident, intelligent and intricate folk outfit. Beginning with the 2010 tape-only release Crossroads, they have been developing their craft through constant touring, their progress marked by the recent release of their multi-format Grassmarket EP.

They have shared stages with Slow Club, Willy Mason and Johnny Flynn, gaining a reputation for delivering an infectious, uplifting set. They are about to tour with Dog is Dead and have loads of summer festivals lined up.

Also performing on the night will be the exquisitely talented Miss Walker, rising stars Lily and Meg plus singer songwriters Owen Penrice and Isaac Sakima.
