Firefighters climb 20ft to rescue child stuck on play equipment

A child was rescued after getting stuck 20 feet above the ground on play equipment in Frome this afternoon.

One fire crew from the town was called out to Station Approach shortly after 3pm today.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said a six-year-old child was stuck at the top of some play equipment, and was unable to descend.

Firefighters rescued the child using a triple extension ladder.
