Final acts on stage for Strummer fest
The team behind Somerset festival Strummer of Love, dedicated to the memory of Clash front man Joe, who died ten years ago, has announced the final acts for the event on August 17-19.
Indie sensation King Charles will join alternative rockers The Farm and punk-folkers The Men They Couldn't Hang in the as-yet secret location in the Blackdown Hills.

The weekend festival will pay tribute to Clash frontman Joe Strummer, a lynchpin of festivals across the UK
And in a rare year off, Michael Eavis, who built a friendship with the singer over many years of his shows at Glastonbury, said: "It's good to know that the spirit of Strummerville will still be alive in our part of the world."
Campfire sessions will be central to the festival, an homage to Strummer's communities at festivals across the UK, where people could come to drink, talk and laugh with like-minded individuals.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the work of the charity Strummerville: The Joe Strummer New Music Foundation, set up in the singer's memory by his friends and family following his untimely death.
The festival will accommodate 5,000 visitors and endeavour to re-connect with the original concept of a festival – a joyous celebration in the fields.
The music on offer will be complemented by stalls selling ethically sourced food and outlets highlighting a range of arts, crafts, Strummer memorabilia, alternative therapies, healing and community activism.
