'Fantastic' Matchbox model vehicles collection to go on sale in Somerset
An amazing collection of boxed Matchbox model vehicles is to be sold by auctioneers Lawrences of Crewkerne, South Somerset.
The striking collection is from one man’s endeavour to collect the popular toys – from the 1960s to the present day – initially using all his pocket money to buy them.

There are over 200 boxed models, including Matchbox Series, Superfast, Major Packs, Kingsize, and Models of Yesteryear.
These will be sold in a variety in lots. Lawrences’ auctioneer Simon Jones said: "This is a fantastic collection, probably one of the largest I have seen for some time. Toys continue to be extremely popular in auction."
