Accountant was a keen sports enthusiast
Former Somerset accountant Clive Weare has died.
Father of two and grandfather of two Mr Weare was born in Kenton, Middlesex, in 1939.

Clive Weare, of Frome, Somerset, was an accomplished accountant who worked up until a few days before his death
Shortly afterwards, his parents moved to Glastonbury and Mr Weare attended St John's School in the town, as well as Wells Cathedral School.
In 1955 he was employed by Davis & Davis, chartered accountants of Glastonbury, as an articled clerk.

One week before he married his wife Annette in 1962 he passed his final examination to become a chartered accountant.
In the mid-1960s he was employed by T H Phelps & Son and Nitrovit until 1983.
When the family moved to Frome in 1970, Mr Weare joined Frome Round Table and in 1983 set up his accountancy business in the town and continued until his retirement in 2008 leaving the business to his son Christopher and daughter-in-law Linda.
He continued to work in the practice as a consultant, even working up to the week in which he passed away.
In August 2012, Mr and Mrs Weare celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at The Grange, Whatley.
Over the years Mr Weare's hobbies included rifle shooting, playing and watching cricket, squash, golf and cruising and keeping koi carp.
In his later years he especially loved watching his grandson Joe playing cricket and football and his granddaughter Millie performing and singing in various shows.
