Family's grief at death of dog dragged along road in tragic accident
The owners of the dog tragically killed when it was accidentally dragged behind their moving vehicle have spoken of their heartbreak.
The couple, who live in Radstock with their three young children, have expressed their grief after the Staffordshire bull terrier had to be put down after they forgot to put the dog in the van after enjoying a walk with their family in Haydon last Friday.
Avon and Somerset Police have also confirmed they are not investigating the incident having spoken to the driver and established the incident was not intentional animal cruelty.
