Fallen telephone cable sparks emergency road closure in Galhampton
Police have closed a road near Castle Cary amid safety concerns after a telephone cable came down this afternoon.
A fire crew was also sent to the scene at 2.05pm and requested help from British Telecom engineers to make the pole safe.
It is not known how long the road, between Galhampton and Sparkford, will remain shut.
