Fabulous festival finale to aid venue's vital fundraising drive
The Frome Festival is joining forces with the Cheese and Grain to promote a fabulous night of hypnotic, rhythmical, and superbly performed musical fusion to ring in the final weekend of the festival on Friday, July 13
Fresh from their previous night's appearance in London with Robert Plant's Sensational Space Shifters, Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara, known collectively as JuJu, will be playing extracts from their stunning album In Trance, at Frome's Cheese and Grain on July 13.

Driven by Justin Adams' guitar, JuJu's fierce, startling combination of driving blues-rock and spine-tinglingly brilliant African sounds, is gripping to watch, thrilling to hear, and impossible not to dance to.
The four-piece have played in bands including Massive Attack, Robert Plant, Portishead, Anika, Beak, Tinariwen, Sinead O'Connor, Jah Wobble and many more.
Juldeh is capable of far more on one string than many can achieve on four and his partnership with Justin – who came out of the post-punk period in West London, where dub and funk met Islamic sounds and Afro-beats – works to perfection.
Billy Fuller on bass is a vinyl junky, rooted in the Bristol scene.
Drummer Dave Smith is a leading light of the young jazz and improvised music scene, who has long studied the sabah drumming of Gambia.
The Cheese and Grain Board is acting as a joint promoter of this event to broaden the scope and range of the hall's musical programme, and also to raise money for a new stage.
Martin Dimery, who is Frome Festival director and programme manager of the Cheese and Grain, said: "We normally hire out the Cheese and Grain to commercial promoters in order to minimise our own risk.
"Sometimes though, there may be greater benefits in actually taking the full risk ourself.
"So we really hope that the people of Frome will get behind JuJu and encourage us to bring even more top quality music to the Cheese and Grain."
