Racing ace Nigel Mansell ditched four wheels in favour of two as he brought his UK cycle challenge to Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

The former Formula One World Champion stopped off in the town on the second day of his mammoth 1,200-mile charity trek.

He is travelling from London all the way to Glasgow and back in 13 days with the aim of raising £1 million for UK Youth.

The national youth work charity supports more than 750,000 young people.

His mission began on Thursday in Kensington Park, London.
