Eyes open to new worlds
Wells Library was under the microscope when it played host to Steve Mynard's Microscopical Worlds.
Fifteen children were each loaned a microscope, which they first learnt how to focus, then used to explore the world that exist beyond the boundaries of human sight.

All the missing millipedes were rounded up by the end of the event and everyone found the session enlightening and entertaining.
