Wells Library staff will be welcoming ecologist Nigel Phillips tonight at 7.30pm, when he will give an illustrated talk based on his book Somerset's Coast – A Living Landscape.
Nigel has spent many years investigating Somerset's coastline and campaigns for increased awareness of the diverse marine wildlife that can be found there.
He is also the Somerset Living Seas Ambassador for the Wildlife Trust and will be organising a number of volunteer surveys during 2013.
There will be an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Nigel's book on the night.
