Exciting new showground era for fair
antiques fairs cornwall
As every year, on Friday and Saturday of the Easter Bank Holiday, The Royal Cornwall Showground is the venue for AFC Fairs' extremely popular Antique and Flea Fair.
The event, in the original exhibition hall and outside, draws up to 5,000 visitors over the two days.
With 200 or so traders attending, and stands retailing a vast array of antiques and collectables, it is no wonder it was visited by the Bargain Hunt team in 2011 who filmed episode 27 of series 30 there.

This year, the showground sees the opening of a new exhibition hall which will see the first Shabby Chic, Vintage and Arts and Crafts Fair to be held there, alongside the now traditional antique and flea market.
This means visitors will have access to both halls. Also, the organisers are laying on a variety of entertainments for the event.
Stalls are being snapped up for both fairs. Already some have awe-inspiring pieces that will be on sale, such as the delightful crafted pieces of fused glass by David Stephens, no doubt destined to become classic antiques in the future.
This event is not only a first for Cornwall but a unique opportunity for traders to sell, make contacts, meet prospective new buyers and to be noticed in this increasingly difficult financial climate.
Some places are still available.
