Ex-boyfriend in court over Catherine Wells-Burr's death

The former boyfriend of Catherine Wells-Burr has appeared in court charged with conspiring to murder her.

Polish national Rafal Nowak, 31, lived in Chard, Somerset, with Catherine, whose body was discovered in a burned-out car next to the A358 at Ashill, Somerset, last month.

He appeared at Bristol Crown Court along with Anna Lagwinowicz, 33, to face charges of conspiring to murder the 23-year-old.

Nowak and Lagwinowicz, of Taunton, Somerset, did not enter pleas and were remanded in custody.
