Friday’s snowfall caused the postponement of all but one of the fixtures in the Evo-Stik Southern League’s three divisions as the season continues to be badly disrupted.

The only game to go ahead came in the Premier Division, at the league’s most south-westerly outpost, Bideford, where the hosts drew 1-1 with AFC Totton.

Matt Andrew headed the Devon side into a first-half lead, but Richard Gillespie drew Totton level two minutes into the second period.

Every other match was called off due to the snow, including Chippenham’s trip to Bashley and Frome’s game at Weymouth in the Premier Division.

In Division One South & West, Abingdon versus Yate, Bishop’s Cleeve against Sholing, Cirencester versus Wimborne, Clevedon against Hungerford, Mangotsfield versus Bridgwater, Paulton against Shortwood, Swindon Supermarine versus Didcot, Taunton against Merthyr and Winchester versus Cinderford were all postponed.

The Mangotsfield game has been rescheduled for tomorrow (7.45pm), although that already looks in doubt, while the Paulton game will take place on Tuesday, March 26.

Paulton are due to host Cinderford (7.30pm) and Shortwood are scheduled to welcome Supermarine (7.45pm) tomorrow, but both games look in jeopardy at the moment.

The same applies to Bishop’s Cleeve against Taunton (7.30pm) and Clevedon versus Poole (7.45pm) on Wednesday.

In total, Cleeve have 24 matches left; Supermarine and Yate 23 fixtures; Bridgwater, Cinderford, Paulton, Shortwood and Taunton 22, while Mangotsfield have 20, Clevedon 19 and Cirencester 18.
