Club committee member Sally Whitemore said: "Pensford Tennis Club has a very successful junior section with more than 50 youngsters receiving coaching.

"Peter offers coaching for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots to teens. During the summer he gives free coaching to pupils at Pensford School and several of these children are also involved in his club coaching programme."
The youngest players take part in the free tiny tots session on Saturday mornings but older players have had a chance to test their competitive abilities.
"Some of the older juniors compete in local tournaments such as Bath, Writhlington and Almondsbury, and more recently they have been further afield to compete in the Torbay Open in Torquay," said Whitemore.
"This was a great experience for them and they played alongside nationally ranked players from London, Staffordshire, South Wales, Cornwall and Devon."
