Madden looks like the signing of the season
Paddy Madden's goal-scoring record of two in 36 for Carlisle United did not instantly suggest that he would be capable of firing Yeovil Town to the brink of the League One play-offs.
However, the Dubliner must be the lower-league signing of the season so far.
Certain players just seem to fit and click at certain clubs – and the 22-year-old has been an absolute revelation at Huish Park, scoring 14 times in 19 appearances.
In League One this season, only Coventry City's David McGoldrick – who once cost £1 million and whose team Yeovil face today – has scored more goals than Madden.

Madden has hit seven goals in his last four games to take Yeovil to one place outside the play-offs. They are being kept out of the top six by virtue of Sheffield United having a slightly better goal difference.
When Andy Williams left Yeovil for Swindon last summer, eyebrows were raised as to who would score the Glovers' goals this season.
But Gary Johnson has unearthed a gem in Madden – and shown that the goal-scoring talent is out there if you search hard enough for it.
