An electrician who lost £2,000 on a night out has revealed his shock after a Good Samaritan posted the money through his letterbox – anonymously.

Roy Box lost £2,000 in cash. Luckily a mystery Good Samaritan later put it through his letter box
Roy Box, 54, had taken the cash out at the bank to pay builders for an extension he was having done.
He left the money in his coat pocket and was devastated to find it had disappeared after a night at the pub with wife Rachael, 45.
Roy, from Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, is convinced the money had fallen out when he was putting the jacket on his wife to keep her warm.
He only realised the money was missing after arriving home from The Dinneywicks pub.
Stunned the cash had vanished, Roy spent hours retracing his steps but there was no sign of his savings.
However, the next day he found an envelope had been posted through his letterbox with every last pound of his extension money still inside.
The person who returned it didn't even leave a note.
And the only way of knowing it belonged to Roy was from his name which was written on a receipt inside the envelope.
Roy said: "I'm not absolutely sure how the money fell out but I felt physically sick the moment I realised it had gone.
"I walked backwards and forwards to the pub and asked anyone if they had seen it but they hadn't. I couldn't sleep that night, it was horrible.
"The next day I was about to call the insurance company to find out if I was covered for any of the loss when I walked downstairs to find the envelope at the bottom of the door.
"All the money was there but absolutely no clue as to who had found it.
"I was so relieved but I would love to know who it was so I could buy them a drink or pay for them to have a meal somewhere."
Incredibly, there was no address on the envelope, so whoever picked it up must have known where Roy lives.
Roy has even become the subject of a practical joke from his good friend Robert Batemen.
Robert, 60, said: "We were at the football club and I pointed to a man at the bar and said it was him who found the money.
"It wasn't though and Roy went over to buy him a pint. I ended up doing this to three or four people and he bought them all drinks."
