Elderly lady in mobility scooter hit by van in Crewkerne
An elderly woman in a mobility scooter was in a collision with a van while crossing the road in Crewkerne on Monday, March 5.
The incident took place at Market Square at around 10.30am. The white transit type van failed to stop after the collision and drove off.

No-one was injured in the incident but it resulted in around £500 worth of damage to the scooter.
Police are investigating this incident and are appealing to anyone who witnessed it to come forward and contact them on 101.
