Eastment's big win hands Wedmore victory
The Isle of Wedmore Bowls Club's men beat Woodspring 88-74 in an evenly-contested home-and-away four-rink contest in the Somerset County Indoor League.
Each club won one rink at in each match but Wedmore triumphed overall thanks in no small measure to an emphatic 28-16 victory by S Eastment's team in the home leg.

Wedmore's ladies also played Woodspring in a triples friendly at home. In a tight game each club won a rink but Woodspring won 32-29 overall.
Maureen Hordle led her team to victory 17-15 after a close finish but Mary Ronald's team were beaten 17-12.
The ladies fared no better in another home triples friendly against Victoria, as they slipped to a 39-24 defeat.
Rosemary Aston's team led for most of the match but Victoria came back to claim a 14-14 draw. Vicky Beard's side had a hard time, going down 25-10.
