Durston goal earns draw for Mid-Somerset
Mid-Somerset 4 Minehead 4
Dan Durston's first goal of the season secured a Mid-Somerset side missing several key players a draw against Central 1 promotion chasers Minehead.
The home side started brightly and were unlucky not to take the lead when Ben Rogers just failed to connect with captain Roger Knife's cross.
Minehead then scored from their first attack when a loose ball hit the inside of the post and fell to their striker, who tapped in from close range.

The home side did not let this get them down, though, and levelled the scores when Andy Rogers converted a short corner. Mids continued to press and Ben Rogers saw several shots saved before they fell behind again when a wayward shot was diverted in by a home player's stick.
Ben Rogers finally got on the scoresheet early in the second half with a drag flick from a short corner and quickly followed it up when he converted Knife's through ball.
Mids were now in control of the game but let their advantage slip through their fingers when Minehead scored from a short corner. The visitors quickly followed it up with a fourth goal to put themselves back in front.
That is how it remained until the final five minutes, when Durston snatched a point for Mids when he followed up after an initial good save from Knife's shot.
