Dunkerton Hill blocked after vehicle gets stuck
Traffic chaos on commuter routes has been getting worse as the rush hour progresses with some roads now impassable.
A vehicle stuck on Dunkerton Hill on the usually busy route from Peasedown St John to Bath is blocking the road. Bath and North East Somerset Council gritters are now on their way to try and free the vehicle.
All other roads are still open but this may change when traffic becomes heavier.
With road temperatures hovering around freezing road conditions are particularly difficult and drivers are asked to take great care.

Gritters have been working throughout the night and are now ploughing where snow has settled. Where possible drivers are asked to keep to the main roads.
