I should be punished, says motorist who admitted causing death by careless driving
A Somerset motorist accused of causing death by careless driving while over the drink-drive limit has been remanded in custody after a judge heard he believes he should be punished.
Paul Ardley, 23, of Street, pleaded guilty at Taunton Crown Court to causing the death of Jacqueline Trowbridge by careless driving on the A361 road between Othery and Greinton while over the alcohol limit, and to causing death while driving uninsured.
