Double bill from award winning ballet company
At the end of half-term week, on Friday, November 2, award winning Ballet Cymru return to Strode Theatre in Street, with a new double bill.
Two of Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes have been adapted for dance and physical theatre – Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs.

With stunning costumes, breathtaking choreography and laugh-out-loud humour this production is an imaginative evening of beautiful dance for lovers of ballet of all ages.
Both works are based on the musical scores by composer Paul Patterson. The two scores were commissioned by The Dahl Foundation and have become children's classics played all over the globe.
The Little Red Riding Hood score featured in a 1995 BBC Christmas Day special featuring the voices of Ian Holm, Julie Walters and Danny DeVito.
Now Patterson's scores are being set in dance for the first time.
Roald Dahl was born in Llandaff, Cardiff, and Ballet Cymru is very proud to tour their version of his irreverent imagination all around England and Wales this autumn.
Ballet Cymru is a young group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet.
Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature.
