Delay on work to reopen Beaminster Tunnel after landslip tragedy
Work to reopen a road tunnel which collapsed during floods and killed a Somerset couple, has been delayed.
It had been hoped to reopen the Beaminster Tunnel on the Bridport-Crewkerne road in Dorset by the end of May, but the opening may now be delayed by three to five weeks.

Heavy rain since the initial tragedy and the high demand for geotechnical engineers means the initial design and stabilisation work has been completed later than expected.
Negotiations are still taking place with landowners before the main repair work can start.
