Dead cat found after Yeovil fire
A dead cat was recovered after a fire at the kitchen of a Yeovil home today. [Sept 14]
Two appliances from Yeovil attended the property on Watercombe Heights just after 12.30pm where crews discovered a fire in a kitchen compartment.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet, four breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.
There was severe fire and smoke damage to the kitchen and dining room on the first floor flat, a spokesman for the fire service said.
He added: "One deceased cat was removed from the property."
