David Tennant to film new ITV1 crime drama in Portishead and Dorset
Former Doctor Who David Tennant is set to film part of a new crime drama in the West.
The actor will play a detective inspector alongside another of the stars of the sci-fi show, Arthur Darvill, in new ITV1 show Broadchurch.
Darvill, who plays current Doctor Who Matt Smith’s sidekick Rory, will be a priest in the eight-part series, which looks at the lives of people living in a small town after the body of a young boy is found on a beach.
The ITV1 show will be filmed on location in Portishead and Dorset later this year.
