A DANCE and theatre group from Highbridge will host a mass dance concert on Burnham beach to raise cash for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts group hosts Dance on the Beach on Saturday on a large dance-style stage.

People are invited to watch street dance crews, boys' dance teams, ballet, modern dance, tap, jive, and hear pop and songs from musicals, performed by youngsters as young as five.

Lucy said: "It will be a great and varied day of dance so come on down. It's all for a very good cause so please come and support us."

Christine Piper, from Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer group, added: "We are delighted to be supporting Lucy Gunter, it is a really fun event and we hope everyone will join in."

It runs from 11am to 4pm.
