Dad left in coma 'hopesto gohome'
A CREWKERNE father of four who was left in a coma after an alleged assault was yesterday hoping to return home from hospital.
Dan Barrett suffered a fractured skull in an incident in a car park near Abbey Street in Crewkerne in the early hours of September 22.
This week he announced on a Facebook group set up to support him that he hoped to be allowed home and he has thanked the Crewkerne community for the messages of goodwill that he has received.
Benjarmin Neaves, 24, also known as Benjamin Neaves, of Coker Way, Chard; Daryl Noake, 29, of Southmead Crescent, Crewkerne; and Dan Rodber, also known as Daniel Neaves, 23, of Coker Way, Chard, have all been charged with unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm to Mr Barrett during the alleged incident.
