Craig Laird: Weston-super-Mare must be more clinical at Bromley
Weston-super-Mare boss Craig Laird is urging his players to be more clinical in both penalty areas.
Beaten in their last two Blue Square South outings, the Seagulls bid to return to winning ways at Bromley tomorrow.
But Laird insisted his charges can learn from back-to-back defeats at the hands of Bath City and Hayes & Yeading.
He said: “We need to be slightly better at both ends of the pitch.

“We are creating plenty of chances, but need to take a higher ratio. We had chances to win our last two games, but our finishing has let us down.
“If we can capitalise when we are on top in games or having a good spell, we will give ourselves a much better chance of taking the points.”
Although Weston’s defensive record has seen an improvement this season, Laird added: “We are still a bit sloppy at times.
“We have had some really good defensive performances, but we have to maintain concentration for the full 90 minutes.”
Midfielder Anton Alvarez Alando is named in the squad and could make his debut.
