South Street, in Crewkerne, was dug up again after being resurfaced
But a Somerset County Council spokesman said: “Following the resurfacing works, BT became aware of the need to lay a new service into the Police Station. Consequently Somerset County Council Highways have no ability to restrict this form of works hence the activity on site.”
