NAILSEA struggled to find their form in the first half and fell 3-0 behind.

Danny Robbins set up Reece Convery to pull a goal back but Berrow extended their lead. Man of the match was Taylor Edden.

WILL Hodges scored from a team move to put Nailsea one up at half-time

Man of the match Jordan Freear's deflected effort doubled the advantage and Hodges netted his second to complete the win, while keeper Owain Carter stood firm.

NAILSEA B 0 CLEVDDON UNITED B 1

TWO evenly-matched sides played out an end-to-end first half, with Nailsea keeper George Williams saving a penalty.

After the break, Clevedon came out strongly and David Clarke grabbed the winner. Nailsea man of the match was defender Connor Hammond.

CLEVEDON TOWN B 5 LONG ASHTON B 1

CLEVEDON'S defence of Adam Milward, James West and keeper Lewis John kept them in the game early on.

This lay the platform for victory, with goals from man of the match Eddie Davis (3), Dominic Kern and Azharul Hague, with his first goal for the club.

YATTON ATHLETIC A 1 NAILSEA UNITED A 0

THE match started evenly and Chandler Kowolskie made some fine saves for Yatton.

Yatton were the stronger team and sealed the win through George Frost, while man of the match was Lucas Finnegan.

YATTON ATHLETIC B 2 NAILSEA UNITED B 2

BOTH teams played well in an exicting game, with Nailsea going two goals up.

Yatton battled on and levelled the scores with one from Lucas Mortimer and the second from man of the match Ben Caygill.

WINSCOMBE 2 YATTON ATHLETIC 4

YATTON reached the semi-finals of the cup with a gutsy performance against Winscombe.

Man of the match Joe Hance twice gave Yatton the lead, only for Winscombe to equalise on both occasions, but Henry Gibbs scored twice in quick succession to seal victory.

NAILSEA UNITED 2 WESTON CRUSADERS 0

NAILSEA booked their place in the semi-finals with an impressive team performance.

Ben Pinkney eventually broke the deadlock and went on to score a second, while keeper Josh Allen made an impressive save late on.

SWISS VALLEY RANGERS 2 CLEVEDON COLTS 1

A SOLID Swiss Valley performance saw them come away with a hard-earned victory.

After going in 1-0 down at the break, two goals from Noah Holmes-McAdam sealed the win. Man of the match was Lewis Torrington.

PORTISHEAD JUNIORS 1 BACKWELL 0

PORTISHEAD and Backwell fought out a highly-competitive match on an energy sapping surface.

The visitors got into their stride first and enjoyed much of the early possession but Portishead worked their way back into the game and, after having a goal disallowed for offside, Eliot Parsons netted the winner to increase Juniors' lead at the top of the table.

LONGWELL GREEN 2 PORTISHEAD JUNIORS GIRLS 4

PORTISHEAD returned to form with an excellent away win at Longwell Green.

Emily Smith gave Juniors an early lead, before Chelsea Hill added two more and, after Longwell Green had pulled two back, Sophie Dumine completed the scoring. Player of the match was Rhea Hall.

BACKWELL WANDERERS 2 NAILSEA ATHLETIC 6

DESPITE playing up the slope, goals from Scott, George and Sam put Nailsea 3-1 up at half-time.

Scott scored two more to complete his hat-trick before Hayden netted the sixth. Man of the match was Tom C.

PORTISHEAD UNITED 8 AXBRIDGE 5

WITH Axbridge just ahead of United in the league going into the match, a tight game was expected.

However, goals from Bradley Walker (4), Olly O'Hare, Will Sergeant, Jake Garcia and an own goal secured the win for Portishead. Man of the match was Connor Fairclough.

CLEVEDON TOWN 0 CLEVEDON UNITED 2

UNITED came out on top after a closely-contested derby.

Callum Walker kept his cool to put United ahead before Harry Clemetson fired home to seal the victory. Man of the match was Sam Hardie.

NAILSEA UNITED 9 BURNBRIDGE 1

NAILSEA'S crisp passing football sparkled in the spring sunshine as they returned to winning ways with a solid team performance.

Will Meakin led the scorers, supported by probing runs from Ben Edney, Sam Richards, Adam Marsden, Nathan Shipway and Blair Teanby.

BACKWELL ATHLETIC 0 PORTISHEAD JUNIORS 4

PORTISHEAD were made to work hard for victory in the Tesco Cup semi-finals.

Goals from Brown, Parselle and Pinder (2) secured the win, while Ryan Scott made a great save to keep Backwell out.

GORDANO VALLEY GIANTS 2 CHEDDAR VALLEY 3

GORDANO were edged out despite putting in one of their best performances.

Goals from Southey and Wintle had brought the Giants level before Cheddar grabbed a late winner. Johnson was named players' man of the match, while Ben Burton picked up the coach's award.

BERROW BOYS 2 CLEVEDON UTD 6

CLEVEDON were deserved winners after an entertaining game played in good spirit.

Joe Rich netted a hat-trick, while Ben Jones scored twice and Paddy Henderson was also on target. Man

of the match was Adam Buckley.

PORTISHEAD JUNIORS GIRLS 6 WOTTON ROVERS 0

PORTISHEAD passed the 70-goal mark for the season with an emphatic victory over a spirited Wotton side.

Charlotte Joyner opened the scoring and further goals followed from Taylor Gainey (3) and Annabelle Colston (2).

NAILSEA UNITED 4 BACKWELL ATHLETIC 3

BACKWELL were three goals up at half-time but Nailsea launched a spectacular fightback to earn victory.

Gareth Gallop set up Chris Malone for the first before goals from Harry Iles, Calum Kingdom and Josh Ramella sealed Nailsea's place in the quarter-finals of the Lewin Cup.

BACKWELL WANDERERS 0 YATTON ATHLETIC 2

YATTON keeper Jack Clements delivered another flawless performance in his third game between the sticks as Athletic saw off Wanderers.

After a goalless first half, Sam Membery set up Dan Worden for the opener, before Will Taplin added the second. The man of the match award was shared between Taplin and Kyran Matthews.

Under 15

YATTON 1 NAILSEA ATHLETIC 2

FIRM refereeing was called for as a feisty and physical first half saw both teams trying hard to gain the advantage.

Alec Herrington and Tommy Dyer gave Nailsea a two-goal lead at half-time before Yatton scored late on.

Under 16

GORDANO VALLEY RANGERS 6 YATTON ATHLETIC 0

DESPITE being down to the bare 11 players, Gordano comfortable saw off the challenge of Yatton.

With new keeper Brad Macrichie not putting a foot wrong, the goals came from Joe Cox-Vowles, man of the match Jack Moore (3), Lima Ryan and Rob Saunders.
