Competition to find Somerton's best liar
Porky pies and tall tales will be rewarded in a unique contest held in Somerton next week.
The West's Best Liar competition aims to unearth imaginative fibs and tall stories told by local people - all for a good cause.
Anyone can enter their most convincing whopper in the light-hearted contest organised by the Langport and Somerton Rotary Club, at the Edgar Hall on Saturday, November 24 from 7.30pm.
The evening's entertainment will conclude with two hours of rock and roll music from local band Nevertheless.
