Community joins fun at High Littleton village day
It was a community day to remember at High Littleton on Saturday.
The annual High Littleton and Hallatrow Village Day attracted more exhibitors and competitors, with an increase of between ten and 20 per cent in many of the produce and dog show classes.
Peter Maule, chairman of the Village Day committee, said: "It went very well. Attendance was good despite the fact that the weather was overcast but the rain kept away.
"It's an important event for the village community and clearly a lot of people really enjoyed themselves."

Any money left after the committee has paid its expenses will go to good causes in the village, but organisations such as the parish church and Scouts have their own stalls to help raise money.
Apart from the stalls, the crowds were entertained by the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band and a puppet show.
