A group raising funds for the British Red Cross is holding a series of coach trips to the Bristol Hippodrome to see a wide variety of shows.

A planned trip to see Les Miserables in July has sold out, but another date has been added for anyone else wanting to see the show.

The trip on July 16 is fully booked but another is reserved for Monday, July 26.

The English National Ballet returns to Bristol with Prokofiev's ballet, Cinderella, and a trip is arranged for Friday, March 26.

The performance will feature a full cast and orchestra.

Opera is next with performances of two different shows.

On Tuesday, April 20, there is Il Seraglio and on Friday, April 23, there is Tosca.

The musical Blood Brothers is being performed on Friday, April 30, and is followed on Monday, May 17, by the play Calendar Girls.

On June 28 there is Strictly Come Dancing (The Professionals).

Looking further ahead there are two trips planned to go and see the Sound Of Music in November and in December the group is planning a trip to Bournemouth to see the War Of The Worlds.

Dick Whittington is coming to the Hippodrome in December and booking is already underway for that.

In mid-Somerset the coach has pick-up points in Keinton Mandeville, Somerton and Shepton Mallet.
